Terms of Service
How our engagements work, including fees, invoicing, cancellation and refunds.
1 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of this website and to the consulting services provided by SJ Digital Enterprise Services Limited ("SJ Digital", "we", "us"), Company No. 81298410, registered office Unit 2904-05, 29/F, Universal Trade Centre, 3 Arbuthnot Road, Central, Hong Kong.
1. Engagements
Each engagement is set out in a written proposal or statement of work that describes the services, deliverables, fees and term. That document, together with these terms, forms the agreement between us. If they conflict, the proposal or statement of work prevails.
2. Fees, invoicing and payment
- Fees are set out in the proposal and are quoted exclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Ongoing services are invoiced monthly in advance. Project work is invoiced as set out in the proposal.
- Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date by bank transfer or by card, where card payment is offered.
- We may pause work on an engagement while an invoice is overdue.
3. Advertising spend
Unless the proposal says otherwise, the client pays advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) directly for media spend. Media spend is not part of our fees and is not refundable by us.
4. Cancellation
- Either party may end an ongoing engagement by giving 30 days' written notice by email.
- Fees for the notice period and for work completed up to the end date remain payable.
- A project may be cancelled at any time by written notice. Fees for work completed up to the cancellation date remain payable.
5. Refunds
- If an engagement is cancelled, we refund any fees paid in advance for work not yet started or for periods after the end date, within 14 days.
- Fees for work already performed are not refundable.
- If you believe you have been charged in error, email hello@sjdigitalenterprise.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate and correct any error.
6. Results
Marketing results depend on factors outside our control, including market conditions, competition, platform changes and the client's own operations. We provide our services with reasonable skill and care but do not guarantee specific results such as rankings, leads or sales.
7. Client responsibilities
The client provides the access, information and approvals we reasonably need, and confirms it has the right to use any materials it supplies to us.
8. Intellectual property
Once our invoices are paid, the client owns the deliverables created specifically for it. We keep ownership of our own methods, templates and know-how.
9. Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's confidential information confidential and uses it only for the engagement. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under any engagement is limited to the fees paid to us for that engagement in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit.
11. Use of this website
